The closest subway stations are 2nd Street Station (5-minute walk) and 8th Street Station (11-minute walk), served by lines such as L1, PATCO, B1, and B3. The Broad Street Line stops at Lombard-South near South Street as well.
The subway service runs frequently, starting early in the morning (as early as 3:24 AM for PATCO) and continuing until after midnight.
The nearest regional rail station is University City Station, about a 6-minute walk from South Street. Several SEPTA regional rail lines stop here, including AIR, CYN, MED, WIL, and LAN.
