Visit STITCH AND DESTROY for the return of our Craft Supply Swap on June 14th from Noon – 5PM. Give, take and swap your pre-loved or unused art and craft supplies, and become inspired to make more art! Drop off your supplies and take home new materials at any time during event hours. Check out our accepted supply list below~
STITCH AND DESTROY is located in Philadelphia at 523 S 4th St. We are an upcycled alternative fashions studio and store- creating clothing from textile waste, selling local recycled wares, and hosting sewing workshops. You do not need to bring materials to take materials! This is a FREE event. RSVP ticket not required. Any supplies brought to the swap and not taken during the event are considered donated to STITCH AND DESTROY.

ALL MATERIALS MUST BE CLEAN, USABLE, SMELL-FREE, NO MOLD/RUST
- Fabric (Yardage and Scraps)
- Sewing, Knitting, Weaving, Fiber Craft Supplies and Notions
- Yarn and Trims
- Sewing Patterns
- Craft, Design, Art Books
- Artist Paints and Inks (No House Paint or Printer Ink)
- Brushes and Drawing Tools (Pencils, Markers, Chalk, Crayons, ect)
- Beads and Jewelry Supplies and Tools (Beads must be bagged)
- Art / Craft Paper and Cardstock
- Screen Printing and Printmaking supplies
- Scrapbooking and Collage Materials (Glue, Stamps, Stencils, ect)
- Silicone Molds for Crafts
NOT ACCEPTED MATERIALS:
- Finished or In-progress Artwork/Crafts
- Home Textiles and Linens
- Clothing, Shoes, Bags, Accessories and Costumes
- Housewares
- Holiday Decor, Wrapping Paper, and Gift Bags
- Lumber and Building Supplies/ Hardware
- Outdoor/Gardening Supplies
- Plastic/Vinyl Banners and Sheeting
- Furniture
- ANY fabric and yarn that is dirty, torn, stained, moldy, or contains odors (no mothball smell or pet hair)
- Dried-out paint, makers and pens, and hardened brushes
- Flammable, Hazardous or Toxic Paints, Solvents, and Art Supplies
- Electronics/E-Waste, including Printer Ink
- Typical Curbside Trash and Recycling (paper tubes, plastic containers, styrofoam, ect)
ALL MATERIALS WILL BE INSPECTED BY STITCH AND DESTROY STAFF AND IT IS AT THEIR DISCRETION TO ACCEPT MATERIALS FOR SWAP. IF NOT ACCEPTED, ITEMS WILL BE RETURNED TO OWNER. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SORT YOUR ITEMS WHEN YOU ARRIVE INTO OUR CATEGORIZED SECTIONS.

STITCH AND DESTROY is located right off of South Street on 4th St in Philadelphia. Our address is 523 S 4th St. Philadelphia, PA 19147.
There is limited metered street parking on our block and in this area it can be difficult to find parking. We suggest taking public transportation- Bus 40, 57, 12, 47, 42 and 21 are nearby. The Market-Frankford Line 5th St stop is 7 blocks away. The Broad Street Line Lombard-South stop is 10 blocks away.
