Lisa Dominic’s new art show “The Lines That Bind” opens at 3rd Street Gallery on Friday, October 6th. The show will run through Sunday, October 29th.
The Lines That Bind:
“I am an artist from Philadelphia, PA. The inspiration for my paintings, at times, spring from a desire to bring a sense of clarity, comfort, and hope.
“My language is impressionism. My technique is intuitive, creating images in a loose and colorful style, then connecting the shapes, values, and brush marks. My favorite pieces combine energy, colors in harmony and a sense of whimsy.
“Scenes that take the viewer to a place, time, or a moment that tells a story and givesshape and voice to the people, places, ideas, and dreamsheld together by the thinnest of lines.”
3rd Street Gallery is an Artist-Owned and Run Cooperative of local area artists. They’re located at 610 S 3rd Street. Gallery hours: Fridays, 4pm – 7:30pm, Saturdays, 1pm – 5pm, and Sundays, 12pm – 4pm.
