Tim Grunsby’s “Into the Void” — 3rd Street Gallery
When: Friday, March 3rd – Sunday, April 2nd (gallery hours vary)
Where: 3rd Street Gallery, 610 S 3rd St
Tim Grunsby’s show “Into the Void” opens at 3rd Street Gallery on Friday, March 3rd. The show will run through Sunday, April 2nd.
Grunsby’s artwork is emotive and abstract while also exhibiting precision and simplicity that belies the complexity of his ideas. His work represents a fusion of forms materials, and concepts that defy conventional artistic expression. The line between the natural and the man-made are blurred, and found object and images are repurposed to create a sense of disorientation and perplexity that challenges the viewer’s assumptions. The use of bold colors and vibrant palette imbues his pieces with movement and vitality, revealing their duality as both simplistic and intricate.
3rd Street Gallery is an Artist-Owned and Run Cooperative of local area artists. They’re located at 610 S 3rd Street. Normal gallery hours: Fridays, 4pm – 7:30pm, Saturdays, 1pm – 5pm, and Sundays, 12pm – 4pm.
