South Street Safari — Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens

Where: Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens / South Street Headhouse District
Your favorite neighborhood scavenger hunt is back!
Bring your dog, your family, and your friends and meet us at PMG. Then, armed with a map and checklist you’re off into the streets around South Street, searching out the many depictions of animals hidden in the local mosaic murals! Your goal is to find all the critters shown on your checklist, mark off their locations, then get back to PMG. The group who finds the most within an hour, or finds them all and gets back first, wins!

If you’d rather play on your own time or use our mosaic mural map to play from home, a printable online version is available for purchase for only $5. Participants choosing this option will receive the PDF the day after this event.
All profits will be donated to Morris Animal Refuge!
The Rules:
-Teams can only split into a max of 2 groups when hunting
-Please respect our neighbors – no littering, climbing walls, etc…
-Watch for cars!
-Help us continue to preserve the mosaics by not touching the art
-Dog/ child-friendly dogs only please. Dogs must be on leash for the duration of the event.
-Registration is required as space is limited
