Sommerfest — Brauhaus Schmitz

Brauhaus Schmitz is happy to announce a street festival to top all street festivals! Sommerfest 2022 is a family-friendly event that celebrates community, the Summer Solstice, and Brauhaus’ 13th Anniversary!
The event will be jam packed with activities including live music from our Haus favorites “Die Heimatklänge Band,” live performances around our Maypole by the United German Hungarian Dance group, a Liter Lift competition presented by the world famous Hofbrauhaus (which will send the winners to compete in NYC for the national Championship), a ceremonial keg tapping, a raffle filled with amazing prizes to raise money to support various Ukrainian organizations, face-painting, flower crowns, and of course plenty of German food and drink! The event is free to attend and pay as you go. A VIP experience is also available and full details are available on Brauhaus Schmitz’s website, brauhausschmitz.com. We invite our loyal supporters as well as the entire community to come out and celebrate a fun filled day on South Street in our massive Biergarten for 1000 people!
