Show Statement
In Sacred and Secular Connections, Marlene D’ Orazio Adler and Nicole Patrice Dul exhibit recent mixed media artworks exploring the language of the universe which comes to us in numeric and symbolic forms in unexpected ways. Through numerical and symbolic connections, we can find the truth in ourselves and the story of the universe.
Through her exploration of Hebrew letters, numbers and their spiritual significance, Marlene aims to contribute creatively to the Jewish understanding of the relationships between numbers, the world around us, our interactions with others, and our individual spiritual endeavors. Her hope is that the visual interpretations she creates will inspire others to find deeper meanings in the Hebrew letters and their numerical significance in our lives.
