Opening Reception for “Of Earthen Kin”
Join us for an opening reception for “Of Earthen Kin: Works by Katie Kaplan.” Kaplan is a Philadelphia-based multidisciplinary artist whose work spans printmaking, sculpture, textiles, video, and installation. In this exhibition, Kaplan explores the environment, focusing particularly on vibrating landscapes and close-up examinations of fungi and foliage. The exhibition also features her screen printed print and poster series, which are deeply tied to environmental, queer and gender activism.
