Holidays On South Tree Lighting Market

On Saturday, December 7th from 12 – 4:30pm, the SSHD will be hosting their Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Market at the Headhouse Plaza (2nd and South Streets). The pop-up holiday market, presented in collaboration with the Sisterly Love Collective, will feature small businesses, food trucks, local vendors and creators, free kids activities, and a meet-and-greet with Santa! All are invited to join in free activities including gingerbread ornament decorating with Crown of Creation, letter writing to the North Pole with 3rd Street Gallery, and live button making with Stitch and Destroy. The South Street Mini Station will also be collecting small toys for their annual Toy Drive to support local families in need. At 4:30pm, Santa and MC Drew Anderson, FOX29 Meteorologist, will lead the crowd in lighting the tree at 2nd and South Streets.
