SUNDAY, FEB. 15South Street's 25th annual Wild Bohemian Sidewalk Stroll will have even more merrymakers than usual this year thanks to involvement by Arts on South. The sidewalk parade on Sunday, Feb. 15 will feature the usual Cajun-Creole musicians and their followers but this year there will be an artistic touch. The Vaudevillains -- an arts-based coed mummer's comic brigade-- will join the fun, according to Bill Curry of Arts on South. The Wild Bohemians, led by Benjamin Laden and musical pals parade in an out of South Street bars and restaurants starting at Fat Tuesday, 431 South, around 1:30 p.m. and ending at Cafe Nola on Headhouse Square around 5:30 p.m. Other stops in order include Woolly Mammoth, Copabanana, Mako's, O'Neal's, Paddywhacks and Downey's. All revelers are welcome to join the fun and wear New Orleans-style masks and beads and toot their kazoos. Related Articles
