PumpkinFest, a South Street tradition full of fun fall festivities, returns to the Historic Headhouse Shambles between Pine and Lombard Streets, on Saturday, October 29, 2016, beginning at 12 noon till 5pm. Free admission, rain or shine!
The District will also be collecting gentle used winter coats for One Warm Coat, (www.onewarmcoat.org), to provide for those in need in advance of winter season.
Activities include:* Horse and wagon hay rides courtesy 76 Carriage around the cobblestone-lined streets around Society Hill and South Street neighborhoods.
* Little ones can get lost in the middle of South Street’s straw bale maze.
* Philadelphia School of Circus Arts will perform amazing aerial feats plus show off some ghoulish ground tricks.
* Live music featuring great music, from Mr John Music & Ivory Fitonia.
* Make and take crafts for children including coloring your own trick-or-treat bags, pumpkin decorating and more by Philly Art Center.
A grown-ups interactive late night showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show starting at 9pm.
